1. Frugal Tech points you to the best free and open source solutions to everyday tech problems.  I recently used one of their tutorials to set up a home server based on freeNAS.
2. Michael Geist: Ottawa Law professor gives reasoned commentary on copyright, privacy and technology news.  (Looks like I picked him last year too.  Still the best source for a Canadian slant on the copyfight).
3. GraphJam: Music and Pop Culture in Charts and Graphs. Let us explain them. OK, I’m a nerd.  And this is really funny stuff.
4. Blaise Alleyne I thought I was the only Catholic, folk singing, songwriting, copyfighting, linux user in Canada.  Apparently there are at least two.
   
5. hughmcguire.net Hugh McGuire, the co-founder of Book Oven and LibriVox blogs about writing and publishing in the Internet age.
