This episode is actually the first show I recorded for this podcast at the Barrie Curling Club at a bonspiel to raise money for the Minesing Unplugged Festival which will be June 16 and 17, 2007 at the Tiffin Centre for conservation near Barrie, Ontario. This week, tickets went on sale for the festival. Some of the featured performers this year will be Lynn Miles, Luther Wright and the Wrongs, Suzie Vinnick, the Greg Hobbs Trio, Corin Raymond and the Sundowners, Ken Whitely, and my good friend, Don Bray.My guest this episode is Ken Allen. Ken is a wonderful folk-country-blues player and songwriter who happens to be in my songwriter’s group. He has no CD or website (yet) but sharing his music and conversation was a pleasure. Enjoy.
