I just uploaded Fight Back and Words of Wisdom to my Soundclick Music page.
Last year, I was asked to perform at a Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life. I was extremely moved by the sight of about 100 cancer survivors in matching blue shirts taking a “Victory lap”. I wrote Fight Back from the perspective of an ordinary guy fighting for his life.
Words of Wisdom is a spiritual song about the importance of words.
On August 14, 2003, the power went out all over Ontario and the Northeastern US. My family had a wonderful quiet evening at home, barbecuing dinner, playing guitar and singing, and watching the stars on our back lawn.
I also wrote a song, Dark Beauty.
